Baja NOW Weekly Update: Week of January 31, 2020

The second full week of classes has just commenced, and Iowa Baja has been working very hard to try and get the cars tested and ready to go for Michigan Tech’s annual Blizzard Baja race in the U.P. of Michigan. We were able to take the cars out this weekend to our test site and let out lesser experienced drivers have a chance to drive the cars around and put some testing on some new designs. It was very wet and sloppy with all of the melting snow, but it made for a great time!

We also had a visitor this week, Connor Morgan from Aerotek Engineering. He talked about the opportunities with contract and contract for-hire engineering opportunities. He also talked about professional development to our younger members looking to get internships. We enjoyed having Connor and wish to carry on this great relationship.
