Baja NOW: Week Update: February 3, 2021

This past Sunday, we had all hands on deck getting the front suspension and drive train put together. We worked on mounting the front suspension, and building mounting brackets for the drive train.

I am most excited this time of year for Baja! By now, we have finalized our designs, sourced our materials, and are in the shop assembling the best car possible. Here is where the action is taking place! Progress is only going to grow more and more – we will be transforming the wire frame that sits on our workbench to a fully functioning 4WD competition vehicle in the matter of a few short weeks. I couldn’t look forward to shop time every Sunday more than I do now.

A few new members got to observe some welding and even got some practice in.

I’m excited to build and analyze the suspension. Having a functional suspension is the foundation for a good Baja car .
