Baja NOW: Update (9/18/2022)

Four weeks in and we have been making quite a bit of progress at the Baja shop! With a large group of new members, the year is off to quite a start.

We have finally gotten all three of our cars up and running so we made a trip out to the test site this week.

For 51, we completed some electrical work, made repairs to the frame, reassembled the drive train, suspension, and brakes.

For 36, we did some clutch tuning and general repairs.

For 33, we cleaned up the carburetor, and put in the floor panel and seat.

These next few weeks are going to be busy getting ready for the Backwoods Baja race in Stout, Wisconsin on October, 22. This upcoming Wednesday, we are doing a resume workshop with Travis Greenlee from the Engineering Success Team here at Iowa.

Mark your calendars for our Alumni Tailgate on Saturday October, 29th. Location and time are TBD, but we sure hope to see all of our supporters in Iowa City cheering on the Hawkeyes
